About us

Team

At Gunstone Hall Equestrian our aim is to have happy horses and owners whether you are a happy hacker to a more serious competitior.

Sam has many years of equestrian experience to expand the yard  to what it's become today; 'Gunstone Hall Equestrian'.

Sam has worked on busy showjumping and dealing yards and then turned to running the riding centre and now the livery & competition yard, she has produced and competed eventers and more recently has focused on breeding and producing of their own dressage horses.

In 2009 'Gunstone Iwondo D', her 16.3HH KWPN stallion, won the Petplan Advanced Medium Open Final and it's with this stallion that she bred their new generation of dressage horses; 'Gunstone Liberty Belle', now up to Inter 1,  'Gunstone's Pride', who is now sold to Para rider Di Green and 'Gunstone's Little Jem'. Previously Sam also produced  'Gunstone If Only', who competed up to novice level in eventing and then FEI Inter 1 in dressage, and 'Cumeragh House Mac'  who Sam has produced up to Inter 1 level since she bought him as a 5yr old.

There are two members of staff, head girl is Tina Smith who has worked on the yard for 14 yrs and is in charge when Sam's away, and Lorraine Marsh, who is part time, both have trained previously at South Staffs College, Rodbaston Campus.

We are fully insured to handle your horses and are covered with public liability insurance.
